Terms

luast is a small hobby project run by one developer. By using the site or the API you agree to these terms.

The service

luast optimizes and obfuscates Luau code. It's provided as is, without warranty, and may change or shut down at any time.

Acceptable use

Only submit code you have the right to use, and don't use luast to hide malware. Don't try to overload the service or get around its limits, for example with extra accounts. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your code

You keep all rights to the code you submit and the output you get back.

Supporter tiers

Payments are one-time, in USD, and processed by Stripe. Your total sets your tier: $5 unlocks Supporter and $20 unlocks Pro. Benefits are tied to your Discord account. "Unlimited" means no daily limit; rate limits still apply.

Liability

Obfuscation makes code harder to read, not impossible to recover. Test your output before you ship it. We aren't responsible for damage from using luast.

Changes

We may update these policies. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Refunds

Payments are one-time and refunds are handled case by case. If something went wrong, message _clv on Discord or use Send feedback with your Discord username and the payment date.

• Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe.
• A refund or bank dispute removes that payment from your total, which can lower your tier.

Privacy

What we collect

• Discord account: ID, username and avatar. No email or password.
• Code: scripts you run while signed in, used to improve luast and kept private.
• Request logs: time, IP address, browser and result.
• Feedback you send, including any attached code.
• Payments: amount, status and Stripe IDs. Card details go to Stripe only.

How it's used

To run and improve luast, apply tiers and limits, and prevent abuse. It's never sold, and only shared with Discord (sign-in), Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting).

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also stores your editor contents. No ads or trackers.

Keeping and deleting

Data is kept until you ask for it to be deleted: message _clv on Discord or use Send feedback. Payment records may be kept for tax purposes.
